Ashley taught fourth year degree students in the School of Cultural and Creative Industries at the University of the West of Scotland. Aside on-screen presenting and communication styles, he delivered lectures about interview techniques and documentary filmmaking from script writing to filming.

The School of Media, Culture & Society is where social sciences and the creative and cultural industries meet. Staff and students in the School are creating a centre of excellence in media, culture, and society education, knowledge creation, exchange, and creative practice.

Highlights from the 2014 showcase week of events, featuring Performance, Art, Music, TV, Film and Radio.

This showcase brings together the best work of the students I worked with from across the school. The Showcase is designed to highlight students' work to industry experts, future employers and the general public. Film shows and music performances combine with prize-giving events, to present a narrative of the School's, and each student's, journey and growth through the year.
